My Young Great Spotted Woodpecker embroidery is featured in the Blackwork section of Sarah Whittle's book, The Needlecraft Style Directory. It is a beautifully designed book, split into two main sections, an embroidery style directory with contemporary makers work to illustrate each style like the works of Kristy Kizzee and Amanda Miller above. Then the second half of the book is dedicated to the actual stitch directory. I'm a sucker for a lovely cover!

Lovely looking book - your Great Spotted looks right at home there.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Flo. It is a lovely book, he lives in America now so it's nice to have a posh picture of him.
